Lead Management

Painted surfaces, especially metal surfaces, usually have an undercoat containing lead. Exposure to lead is often from contact with surfaces that are being repainted, sanded or otherwise damaged, exposing the lead containing layers. The Lead Management Program is intended to reduce occupational and environmental exposure to lead.
